Afrikadag 2024 aims to shed light on the movements on the African continent that defend universal human rights and democratic values. What do they need from Europe and The Netherlands to make their fight successful?

The event brought together European and Dutch policy-makers and politicians, as well as activists and officials from the African continent, to find innovative strategies for enhancing democracy and human rights together.

Challenges and developments were shared and shown through immersive workshops and discussions, inspired by African-European cooperation on the basis of equality and justice.
