Als vereniging zijn we lid(organisatie) van Partos, de Nederlandse branchevereniging voor internationale samenwerking. Via Ledenforum worden regelmatig activiteiten en ander nieuws vanuit Partos gedeeld. In dit NEDWORC café zal Erika van Heeringen meer vertellen over de achtergrond van Partos en de verschillende thema's waar zij zich ism de lidorganisaties op richten. Wat doet Partos en hoe kunnen we vanuit NEDWORC (nog beter) deelnemen, als leden en als vereniging?
Over Partos
Partos richt zich op impactvolle ontwikkelingssamenwerking voor een mooie, duurzame en eerlijke wereld voor iedereen, met nadruk op de meest kwetsbare groepen en gebieden. Partos heeft circa 100 leden (dwz lidorganisaties), waaronder bekende namen als Unicef, Warchild, Rode Kruis, maar ook vele kleine organisaties. Verbinden, vernieuwen en impact maken vormt de kern van Partos, met een focus op op onderwerpen en activiteiten die individuele lid-organisaties niet of minder goed alleen kunnen, zoals:
- Kennisdeling en samenwerking binnen de sector
- Lobby en advocacy van de sector richting de politiek
- Services en voordeel voor leden
Programma: Presentatie over Partos, met vragen en discussie. Daarna uitwisseling in deelgroepen over een open thema en/of een thema voortkomend uit the Partos presentatie.

As an association, we are a member (organization) of Partos, the Dutch branch association for international cooperation. Events and other news from Partos are regularly shared via Ledenforum. In this NEDWORC café, Erika van Heeringen will tell more about the background of Partos and the various themes on which they focus in collaboration with the member organizations. What does Partos do and how can we participate (better), as members and as an association?
About Partos
Partos focuses on impactful development cooperation for a sustainable and fair world for everyone, with an emphasis on the most vulnerable groups and areas. Partos has approximately 100 members (i.e. member organizations), including well-known names such as Unicef, Warchild, Red Cross, but also many small organizations. Connecting, innovating and making an impact is at the core of Partos, with a focus on topics and activities that individual member organizations cannot or are less able to do alone, such as:
- Knowledge sharing and cooperation within the sector
- Lobbying and advocacy of the sector towards politics
- Member Services and Benefits
Programme: Presentation about Partos, with questions and discussion. Then exchange in subgroups about an open theme and/or a theme arising from the Partos presentation.
